However, according to the director, the work related to the film and the promotion work has been completed, so there is nothing to worry about from the film side.
According to the news published in the Times of India, Rumi said, ‘I was in Hyderabad for my daughter’s wedding which took place in the first week of August. Many special friends of mine including Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor had come to the wedding. Thankfully, I have become a victim of this virus after August 15, because all those who came for the wedding reached their homes safely. Talking about ‘Chehre’, Rumi said, “Luckily all the work of my film is also completed, promotions, etc. The film was earlier scheduled to release in April, so the work related to the film was already completed, there is absolutely no need to worry from that side. Just now my test comes negative, after that I will come to Mumbai or else I will watch the film here in Hyderabad only.
Let us tell you that ‘Chehre’ was earlier scheduled to be released in theaters on 30 April. But in view of the situation of Kovid, the release date of the film was postponed. But now the film is releasing in theaters across the world on 27th August. ‘Chehre’ stars Emraan Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan, Rhea Chakraborty, Annu Kapoor and Krystle D’Souza in lead roles. The film is produced by Anand Pandit. At the same time, Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan are sharing the screen together for the first time in this film.
