A US court has convicted former policeman Derek Chauvin in the murder of a black citizen George Floyd. President Joe Biden has called the court’s decision a major step towards justice in America. For the time being, Chauvin has been found guilty and reactions are coming from the leaders of the world including America.
Racism a blemish on America’s soul: Biden
On the court’s decision, President Joe Biden said, “It was a murder in broad daylight and it opened the eyes of the whole world.” Systemic racism is like a speck on the soul of our country. It worked to unite people of different races. Biden told Floyd’s family, “Nothing can bring his brother and father back”. But this is a big step in the march towards justice in America.

Jury convicted Chauvin took the right decision: Bill Clinton

His tragic death and the evidence presented during the trial made it clear that we need to recruit people who serve our community, train them and do more work in law enforcement. Failing in this direction is a plague for America and we have seen it in recent times.
