India and England Test match is going on in Gujarat’s Narendra Modi Stadium and the discussion is not on the performance of the scorecard
the players but in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In fact, the Gujarat Cricket Association has changed
the name of the world’s largest cricket stadium to the Narendra Modi Stadium. that is announced on Wednesday.
Now the debate has started on this from social media to newspapers and TV channels everywhere. That is why the issue of sports has become less and the issue of politics more.
The Congress alleges that the first stadium was named Sardar Patel Stadium. To change his name to Modi, is to disrespect Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Congress said, “First lost Mahatma Gandhi from the Khadi calendar and now Sardar Patel from Motera Stadium. Know, the names of ‘Bapu’ and ‘Sardar’ can never be erased by the BJP.”
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar responded to these allegations of Congress.
On Twitter, he wrote, “The entire complex is named Sardar Patel Sports Enclave, only the cricket stadium is named after PM Narendra Modi. Ironically,
the ‘family’ which did not honor Sardar Patel even after his death Did, they are creating a ruckus today on this matter. ”
