Ankita Lokhande Jain was born into a Marathi family on December 19, 1984, in Indore, India. Shashikant Phadnis, a banker, and Vandana Phadnis, a teacher, are her parents.
In order to further her acting career, she moved to Mumbai in 2005. She debuted on television in the award-winning daily programme Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, produced by Balaji Telefilms.
She has been in numerous television shows since then. In 2018, she made the decision to quit television in order to pursue a career in film.
Subsequently, in 2018, she was offered a prominent supporting role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's high-profile film "Padmavat." Ankita, though, was unprepared for this.
On January 25, 2019, she made her big screen debut as Jhalkaribai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Next, she was seen in Baaghi 3 with Tiger shroff
