Asaram Bapu gets life imprisonment for a 2013 rape case 

Black Section Separator In a 2013 rape case, a court in Gujarat's Gandhinagar sentenced Asaram Bapu to life in jail. The court had earlier on Monday found Asaram Bapu guilty of the rape.

Asaram has received a life sentence from the court. In addition, the victim will get a $50,000 compensation from Asaram Bapu.
