A new case of this has emerged following the degrading act of urinating while in flight. A female passenger, age 45, attacked a member of the cabin crew on a Vistara flight from Abu Dhabi to Mumbai.
The woman was detained by the Mumbai Police for making a scene on board and assaulting a crew member. The woman, however, was granted bail and released.
The crew members objected when the inebriated passenger got up from her seat and started sitting on the business class seat and ordered her to leave.
The woman became enraged at this and punched the crew member in the face. The woman also spits when the other crew member tries to stop her at the same moment.
The woman continued on, taking off her clothes and making her way around the plane. According to the police, the woman was intoxicated when she began abusing the crew members.
As directed by the captain, the female passenger was caught, dressed, and then held bound to her seat until the plane landed safely.
The woman passenger was brought before the Andheri court by the Mumbai Police, who then confiscated her passport and filed a chargesheet against her. The woman has secured bail, nevertheless.
A fine of Rs. 25000 has also been levied on the woman in addition to this. Paola Perucchio, the female passenger, is an Italian citizen. She was very inebriated.
