India VS Bangladesh: India defeats Bangladesh in the first Test match by 188 runs to take a 1-0 series lead.

India won the opening match in Chittagong by 188 runs, taking a 1-0 lead in their two-Test series against Bangladesh when the hosts were bowled out for 324 on the final day of play on Sunday.

Continuing the innings at 272/6 on Day 5, Bangladesh was bowled out for 324. Zakir Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan top-scored for the hosts in the subsequent innings scoring 100 and 84 runs separately.

Indian bowlers were able to dismiss the hosts and secure a significant victory despite the tenacity of the Bangladesh batting lineup.

Because of his exceptional ball handling and brilliant performance, Kuldeep Yadav was declared the player of the game.

Yadav managed to pick up three wickets in the second innings after taking five in the first, finishing with a final match total of (8/113).

The second Test will take place at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka from December 22 to December 26.
