The young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan hit his third successive fifty during the One Day International (ODI) series against the West Indies.
As a participant in the third and final ODI of the series, Kishan gave the visiting team a strong opening against India. He also recieved "Players Of Series" for his performance.
Ishan made a strong case forward to be considered for the ODI World Cup selection with his 8 boundaries and 3 sixes in his innings. He gave mervelous performance in match.
He contributed to India's successful pursuit of a goal of 115 runs in just 22.5 overs with his excellent 52 runs off 46 balls, which included seven fours and one six.
India already leads the series 1-0 thanks in large part to his contribution. With his second successive half-century in the second ODI, Kishan showed no signs of slowing down.
Given that important players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were rested for this game, his performance was very impressive.
