Ishan hit five sixes in T20Is, which is now a record for the most by an Indian wicket-keeper. He shattered Pant's record, who in 2019 against the West Indies struck four maximums in his 42-ball 65*.
Ishan, who made his T20 International debut in 2021, has amassed 744 runs at an average of 25.65 from 30 outings. The total includes a strong 123.38 strike rate.
Interestingly, he has scored five T20I fifties at home. In this aspect, the left-handed batter has 593 runs. Ishan reached his first T20I half-century in 2023 with this.
