Gaurav Arora, who is falsely believed to be Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian team, due to their strong physical similarities, is Gaurav Aora.
In the hotel Landmark last October, Gaurav was observed by South African footballer AB Devilliers, who recognised him as Virat and said hello.
Famous sports pundit Harsha Bhogle also expressed confusion upon spotting Gaurav in the South Africa and India teams' hotel room.
Bhogle thought Gaurav was Virat and waved and smiled at him. Confusion couldn't be cleared up until Gaurav revealed himself.
The Landmark hotel personnel also mistakenly identified Gaurav as Virat while he was leaving and asked him if he enjoyed staying there.
When given the chance, Gaurav said he would see Virat Kohli to present him a T-shirt with a picture of Virat printed on it. Gaurav declared himself to be a tremendous admirer of Virat Kohli.
