In Pune, Maharashtra, a horrific occurrence has come to light. As part of the black magic ritual, a woman was made to consume powder prepared from the bones of the deceased.
Her in-laws and husband stood by her when she was compelled to give this bone powder by a tantrik in order to conceive the child.
Two cases have been filed by the police against the accused. In the first case, the victim told that at her marriage, her in-laws sought a dowry that comprised some cash, gold and silver jewellery.
According to the police complaint on the second incident, the woman was forced into engaging in black magic and other superstitious practises after her marriage.
According to the police, the woman in the case said that the victim's in-laws forced her to engage in some superstitious acts both at home and at the crematorium over the time of multiple Amavasyas.
The victim's family is educated, but the police claim they still engage in such wrongdoing. A case has been reported to the police under many sections.
According to DCP, a FIR has been filed against the seven suspects, and an inquiry has begun after serious consideration of the allegation. The crematorium is currently being searched by the police.
