In the second innings against Australia, he grabbed 7 wickets, including 5 as a bowler. He made history for the Indian squad during this time.

In just 12.1 overs against Australia in the second match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Ravindra Jadeja claimed 7 wickets.

This is the best bowling performance by Ravindra Jadeja in a Test match; his previous best was 7 for 48 against England at the Chennai stadium in 2016.
