At 11 p.m. in Chembur, when Sonu Nigam was leaving the stage following a live concert, the tragedy occurred.

His assistant was treated at a hospital for minor injuries and then released after receiving only the most basic care.

After performing live at the Chembur festival, Sonu Nigam left the stage, and this is when the incident happened. Someone pushed him from behind.

The man pushed the two musicians who were with him down the steps when they attempted to move him away. This resulted in one of them getting hurt.

Shehzad Poonawala, a BJP leader, attacked the former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, alleging that his son, an MLA from his faction, was responsible for the "attack."

Reports state that there was significant issue surrounding snapping selfies with the singer throughout the show. Sonu Nigam and his pals were then attacked.
