For all of its Android beta testers, WhatsApp recently brought out Companion Mode. It has just come to light that the well-known instant messaging software is developing yet another feature.
This texting service from Meta is reportedly working on adding the ability to send video messages that cannot be saved or forwarded.
The instant messaging service WhatsApp may soon enable its users to preview and transmit video messages, according to WABetaInfo, a website that tracks changes in WhatsApp releases.
Users can now record a brief video message of up to 60 seconds and send it to their contacts using this tool, which has now been made available to some beta testers.
In case a video message is received, the platform has published a screenshot of a "video message" chat list in preview.
The same feature is offered for stickers, GIFs, pictures, and movies as well. We can now declare that this feature has advanced one step.
End-to-end encryption is used by WhatsApp to protect video communications and ensure that only the intended receivers can see them.
The same is not even visible to WhatsApp itself. Video messages, however, cannot be saved or forwarded.
