Recently she took to her Instagram handle where she shared several videos and images of her workout and after session rituals. The social media star swears by the lemon water post-workout session to stay hydrated and burn the fat. She posted a photo of her water bottle with the caption “Workout done. Hydration in motion”.

Weight loss and lemon water is quite a rage among fitness enthusiasts these days. Several studies suggest that starting your days with lemon water can help support weight loss and may cut down the risk of developing other serious illnesses.

In a lab test carried out on mice, it was found that polyphenol antioxidants found in lemons helped to reduce weight in mice who were overfed to induce obesity. Sipping lemon water every day in the morning also helped to reduce the blood sugar level and improve insulin resistance, the two main factors that lead to type 2 diabetes. However, a lot more research is needed to establish the link between lemon water and weight loss.

Earlier, the 36-year-old actress in an interview revealed that she had completely cut dairy, juice, fruit and fizzy drinks from her diet to reduce the intake of sugar. She is also careful about her alcohol intake and does not take more than two alcoholic beverages on night outs. To curb her craving and stay motivated she does engage in one cheat meal every week.

07/7 ​Her workout routine

Along with diet, Khole also follows a strict workout routine four to five times a week. Rather than focusing on any one workout routine, she mixes up her weekly workouts. She revealed that this tactic helped her target different parts of the body and encouraged her to stay focused. She includes cardio, high-intensity interval training, and strength training in her fitness routine. At times she even practises yoga.
