Assam (Assam), a big case has been revealed in West Bengal Election 2021 about EVM. The EVMs have been found outside the TMC Leader’s house on Uluberia North Assembly seat in Howrah district late Monday night. When the local people informed the police, the election officials swung into action.
What to say of the sector officer
Several sealed EVMs have been found kept outside the house of TMC leader Gautam Ghosh. When the police and Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) officials arrived on the spot, the Sector Officer said, ‘By the time we reached the Sector Office, it was closed by the CAPF. Later my Assistant Sector Officer said that we can keep it with our relatives. I did not know that he is a TMC Leader.
Action taken by EC
In this case, the Election Commission has suspended the Sector Officer. The Election Commission says that there were EVM reserve machines found outside TMC leader’s house, these machines have been removed from the election process. Strict action will be taken against all the officials guilty in the case.

EVM was also found in Assam
Let me tell you, earlier during the second phase of voting in Assam, an electronic voting machine (EVM) was found in the car of the BJP candidate’s wife. Meanwhile, violence erupted on the outskirts of Karimnagar town in Assam, after which the police had to fire in the air to control the situation. People were protesting against the BJP candidate’s vehicle being used to take the EVM to the strong room.
The Home Minister had said about the investigation
In this case, the Election Commission (EC) has suspended four election officials and ordered re-polling at the center. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also asked the Commission to investigate. Meanwhile, the police has arrested many people on the charges of violence after the incident.
Voting is happening in 5 states
Voting is going on today in 5 states of the country for the Assembly Election 2021. In Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry, where voting will be completed for all seats in a single phase. At the same time, there is third and last phase voting in Assam (Assam). West Bengal (West Bengal) will be the only state where five phases of voting will take place even after today.
Voting on 31 seats in West Bengal
In the third phase of the elections in Bengal, votes are being cast in 31 seats. There are 78 lakh 50 thousand voters registered in this phase, who will decide the fate of 205 candidates. Of these, 39,93,280 are male, 38,58,902 female voters. At 7 am, the seeds of strong security have started voting. Voting will continue till 6.30 pm. 205 candidates are in the fray in this phase, with BJP’s Swapan Dasgupta, TMC’s Ashima Patra and CPM’s Kanti Ganguly being the prominent leaders.
