Dr. M. Bandopadhyay, a senior doctor of SSKM, a government hospital in Kolkata, issued a statement saying that ‘the Chief Minister is being kept under surveillance for the next 48 hours. There is a need for further investigation, after seeing their condition, we will decide about further treatment.
The doctor said that he had a mild fever and was shifted to the special ward of SSKM hospital after undergoing MRI from Bangur Institute of Neurosciences.
The state government has formed a team of five doctors for his treatment. It consists of a cardiologist, an endocrinologist, a surgeon, an orthopedist and a physician doctor.
Charge of assault in Nandigram
Mamta Banerjee on Wednesday accused her of assault after filing her nomination from Nandigram seat of East Medinipur district.
They said that four or five people pushed them when they were not accompanied by policemen.
He told that when she was returning from the temple and going in the car, four or five men pushed her. They told that they pushed the car door and their leg got stuck in the car door and during this time their knee and ankle got hurt.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “It is a conspiracy. At that time no one from the administration was there to protect me. They had come to really hurt me. I have decided to return to Kolkata now.”

There was a possibility that Mamata Banerjee would spend the night in Nandigram but she decided to return to Kolkata and was taken directly to the hospital.
State Governor Jagdeep Dhankar has also reached the hospital to see him. During this time, Trinamool Congress supporters raised slogans of ‘Go Back’ against the Governor.
