World Vegetarian Day 2021: Protein is an important part of our diet, because it works to give energy to our body. This is the reason why we need protein daily. It is generally believed that protein is found only in non-veg food. There is no doubt that the amount of protein in meat is very high, but this does not mean that the lack of protein cannot be met by eating vegetarian.

1. Milk is rich in protein
You must know that milk is a great source of calcium, but along with it it also contains a good amount of protein. Similarly, milk strengthens the muscles of your body.
2. Take a good amount of curd
If you do not like milk, then you can have a bowl of curd daily with lunch instead. Due to this your body will also get protein as well as coolness in the stomach will also reach.
3. Eat Dryfruits
You should eat cashews, almonds, pistachios, walnuts and makhana every day. With this, you will never have to face protein deficiency in life. Eat a handful of dry fruits every day and also drink a glass of milk.
4. Rajma
Your favorite rajma is also rich in protein. If you are troubled by your increasing weight, then you must definitely eat kidney beans at least twice a week. Due to this, your body gets plenty of protein without increasing fat. This keeps you active.
5. Consume Soybeans
You can take soybean in the form of lentils, flour, badi and milk. It is a natural source of protein. Consume it 2 to 3 times a week in different ways.
6. Desi Chana
You can eat desi gram or sprouts in breakfast by boiling or frying. Apart from this, you can also eat it during the day. This gives you continuous energy to work throughout the day.
7. Buttermilk or Lassi
Apart from milk and curd, buttermilk and lassi are also good proteins. You can drink it for breakfast, lunch or anytime in between. However, you can drink it several times a day during the summer season.
8. Vegetables also rich in protein
Cauliflower, green peas, spinach and mushrooms are some of the vegetables that help to overcome the lack of protein in your body. Therefore, you must consume these vegetables three times a day.
9. Be sure to eat pulses too
By consuming all these pulses like tur, urad, moong, lentil, gram, chickpea etc., the body gets enough protein. You can eat different pulses three times a day.
10. Flour Chapati
You can eat the flour in chapati, pudding or any other way. Flour is rich in carbohydrates as well as protein. Along with this, flour contains many types of vitamin-B, nutrients like zinc, iron and magnesium.
